Printed on Handmade Recycled Brown Paper | Black Ink
She is one of the most iconic figures ever unearthed from Malta’s Neolithic past - known simply as The Fat Lady, though her presence is anything but simple.
Found in the Ħal Tarxien Temples, she is wide-hipped, grounded, and seated in still power. Archaeologists have debated her meaning for over a century - fertility symbol, goddess, ancestral matriarch. But what’s clear is this: she was important enough to be carved, honoured, and placed inside sacred space.
This hand-printed reimagining is part celebration, part reclamation. A tribute to her softness, her strength, and the ancient cultures that once worshipped women not for their appearance, but their power.
